Google Palestine Hacked

Google Palestine Hacked was today the victim of Palestinian hackers, Cold Z3RO, Haml3t, Sas and Dr@g through what looks to be some sort of DNS exploit. The website was defaced and changed to read the following “uncle google we say hi from palestine to remember you that the country in google map not called israel. its called Palestine”

No malicious content was spread using the exploited website, it seems to be more about proving what they can do.

I’d never thought that maybe Google would be more vulnerable on one of it’s newer, less-used domains and that’d it make any difference. It has made me aware of the fact ┬áthat just because one domain is secure doesn’t mean another leading to the same site is. I assume Google has made a security patch to the site since then and I also assume that these hackers would not be able to get into the .ps domain again.
